Lolly is a London-based Director & DOP.
She has ample experience in working brands, influencers and artists to produce authentic, relatable and engaging content for their audiences.
2019 was an amazing year, seeing her step into music video directing and appearing on the NTA & BAFTA-nominated BBC hit show, The Rap Game UK.
Her work has also featured on other press and broadcast channels including: The Metro UK, Complex, Kiss FM and GUAP magazine.
2020 has set off to a flying start with one of her most recent projects, Motherland, being officially selected at three BAFTA-Qualifying film festivals: Underwire, London Short Film Festival (LSFF) & BFI Future Film. It also became an BFI award-winning documentary film after securing Best New Talent at the BFI Future Film.
Since this success, she has been exploring the world of filmmaking and has a number of projects in the pipeline, including the creation of her first short film.
Lolly continually aims to challenge status quo by being a black female navigating within the film production industry. Being a strong advocate for women of colour who work in the industry, she built a platform to empower the community called #WomenCreateToo.
It launched in March, and fast-forward a few months later is now being supported by Superdrug, after she won this year’s Faces of the Future competition.
